According to the ICE Hockey League Game Book (Part I – Disciplinary Measures | IV. Substantive Law | § 2 Disciplinary Measures and Directives | (3) Automatic Suspensions | Fighting-Automatic Supplementary Discipline (DOPS)) a player is automatically suspended if he is assessed a fighting major for the 2nd time during the ICE Hockey League regular season.
